Monica Horsley, former District Teacher of the Year and Plantation Key Reading Coach, spent the past year with Leadership Florida's Education Class 8. Collaborating with a dynamic group of educators, representing all aspects of Florida education, she discussed significant educational challenges, shared innovative solutions, and created meaningful relationships.

Throughout the year, their cohort had three impactful experiences together in Tallahassee, Howey-in-the-Hills, and Orlando. This enriching experience culminated in the annual meeting this past weekend, where Monica and her peers celebrated their achievements, reflected on their personal and professional growth, and renewed their commitment to advancing education in Florida.
