The 2023-2024 school year has brought Special Olympics to Marathon Middle/High School! Unified sports with Special Olympics involves our Special Olympics Athletes partnering up on the field with partner athletes, also from Marathon Middle/High.

Our Unified Soccer team competed in its first ever tournament in Big Pine Key on March 14, 2024. Our Dolphins played two games against H.O.B. school out of Key West and Key Largo School out of Key Largo. 

On April 12, 2024, Our Unified Soccer Team will be representing Marathon and the Florida Keys at the Regional Soccer Tournament in Bradenton, FL. Below is our team. If you see them in the community or at the school make sure you give them a shoutout or a high five for the great sportsmanship they are playing with!
