OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS
IMPORTANT FINANCIAL AID INFORMATION FOR SENIORS PURSUING COLLEGE | The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), the first step for most students pursuing financial aid for college, now opens October 1st of each year. Please use the documents below to get a start on the FAFSA and the Financial Aid Process. There will be a KWHS Senior Financial Aid Night in the Fall Semester (Date TBD). Seniors - Local Scholarship Opportunities | All college-bound seniors receive notification of the opportunities, including weekly local scholarship updates starting in January of their senior year via the College Advisor's Remind messages. Please see the College Advisor during walk-in hours for local scholarship applications. Not on Remind? Please see the instructions at the top of this webpage. Parents and families are welcome to join as well! |
Students with Homeless Status - In-State Tuition Benefits | Students covered under the McKinney Vento Act (Homeless Status) receive the benefit of in-state tuition and fee exemption to attend Florida's public universities, colleges, and technical schools/colleges.
