  • COVID-19 Vaccine Walk-Up Events in Monroe County

     

    (Monroe County, Fla.)—Monroe County has multiple upcoming walk-up COVID-19 vaccination events.  If you have not yet been vaccinated against COVID-19, do so as soon as possible at one of the following upcoming events or at local retail pharmacies to protect yourself, your family, and your community.  

     

    • Monday, May 10

    Appointments for the Big Pine Key vaccine events can be made at myvaccine.fl.gov starting on Friday, May 7, 2021.  No appointments necessary for any of these upcoming events.  The Moderna vaccine will be used at these upcoming vaccine events.  All those age 18 and older are eligible for this vaccine.  Proof of residency is no longer required. Individuals will now be required to verbally confirm if they are a Florida resident or if they are in the state for the purpose of providing goods and services in Florida.  For more information, visit monroe.flhealth.gov/vax.

TDAP VACCINE BOOSTER

  • Your child is REQUIRED to have a Tdap vaccine booster prior to entry into 7th grade. 

     PLAN AHEAD!   We are asking you to start now and call your personal provider OR one of our local  Florida Department of Health-Monroe clinics to make your appointment to get the REQUIRED immunization completed. Other recommended vaccines will be offered but are not required for school entry.
