period. The individual may return to school and school-sponsored events on day 6; or

    C. The individual receives written permission to return to school from a medical doctor
licensed under Chapter 458, F.S., an osteopathic physician licensed under Chapter 459,

after having direct contact with an individual that is positive for COVID-19.

    A. Individuals who are known to have been in direct contact with a person who has tested
positive for COVID-19 may continue to attend school, school-sponsored activities, or be on
school property, without restrictions or disparate treatment, so long as the individual
remains asymptomatic. The individual should continue to monitor for symptoms for 10 days
    from the date of exposure.

    i. An asymptomatic individual who elects a voluntary quarantine must provide
medical documentation from a licensed medical provider to excuse the absence(s).
