                Sugarloaf School has been awarded a matching grant for elementary technology integration from Goldenrod Research Corporation.  Through the grant, high-tech robotics and fluid power equipment will be available to engage local students in STEM learning. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.

                    Sugarloaf School joins a select group of approximately 280 schools in the US and Canada selected since 1997 for Goldenrod’s YouthTouch Matching Grant/Referral Site program. Sugarloaf  is an awardees in Round III of the 2012-2013 competition, and they will become the third  school in the state of Florida  to become a YouthTouch referral site.
