Students are allowed to take their Library books home for 1-2 weeks . Please return them on Library/Media Center day so your child will be able to check out 1 or 2 more books. For the first half of the year, Kindergarten students check out 1 book and it is up to the teacher and Media Specialist whether books remain in the classroom or go home. New School Hours 8:00-3:00
Students should be dropped off in the cafeteria between 7:45-7:55. Please bring your child to the cafeteria, not the classroom. I pick them up there between 7:55-8:00.
Parents needing to get to work early may drop their child at the Media Center/Library at 7:00 A.M. At 7:45 they will be walked to the cafeteria to wait for pick up by their teacher.

- Resource for Teachers using Storytown. * We now use Journeys and Guided Reading
Study Guides list the sounds, words and skills we are learning each week in reading and language arts. Students are tested on these words and skills in the Harcourt Theme Tests and the Lesson Tests. Please note that some weeks are review weeks and will not have a study guide. The skills from the last 3 weeks will be tested on those weeks. In addition the homework for the week lists all the words, sounds and skills we are focusing on during the week.
