    NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

    MONROE COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD

    On Tuesday, September 21, 2021, the School Board will hold a Workshop at 4:00 P.M.; a Closed Session to discuss Bargaining; and a Regular Meeting – time approximate 5:00 P.M.  A Public Hearing for Job Description and Policy are included on the agenda. The host location is at Marathon Middle-High School, 350 Sombrero Beach Rd, Marathon FL 33050.

    Any member of the public who wishes to provide comment on any item before the School Board for action may register their intention to participate in the public portion of the meeting by calling (305) 293-1400 ext. 53323 no later than 3:00 P.M of the meeting day – Citizen Input can be scheduled for in-person delivery or delivery on the phone, and upon arrival at the meeting, speakers will complete a Speaker's Form. Please arrive no later than 5:00 P.M. Protective facemasks are required.

    If signing, special seating or other accommodations are required, please call (305) 293-1400 ext. 53323 no less than three (3) business days prior to the meeting.

    If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Board, with respect to any matter considered at a School Board meeting or hearing, that person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings are made.   • MCSD & UTM Bargaining Team

    NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

    MCSD & UTM Bargaining Team 

    The Monroe County School District (MCSD) and the United Teachers of Monroe (UTM) convenes annually to bargain conditions pertinent to the UTM, Teachers and SRP Contracts.  A bargaining session will occur on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 from 3:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.  A subcommittee, Educational Performance Incentive Compensation (EPIC), will be working on teacher evaluation and meeting on Thursday, September 9, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.  The EPIC teams will also meet on the following dates:

    Thursday, October 14, 2021, Wednesday, November 10, 2021, Thursday, December 9, 2021, Thursday, January 13, 2022, Thursday, February 10, 2022, Thursday, March 10, 2022, Thursday, April 14, 2022 and Thursday, May 12, 2022.  All of these EPIC meetings will be from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. 

    The meetings will be conducted virtually using Microsoft Teams.  For access to observe or any inquiries, please contact Harry Russell by email at: Harry.Russell@keysschools.com no later than Noon, the day before a scheduled session.  The public is welcomed and can observe at the following location:
