On-line Introductory RtI Course

The online introductory RtI Course, originally developed and hosted by the University of South Florida has been updated and revised in collaboration with the Florida Center for Interactive Media (FCIM) based on user feedback and the on-going development of Florida’s RtI efforts.  It can now be accessed by anyone at http://www.florida-rti.org/introCourse/.  This professional development tool is excellent for independent or group study, particularly to build initial awareness, understanding, and practice with case studies.  For questions related to content, please contact Heather Diamond at heather.diamond@fldoe.org.  For technical questions, please call (800) 357-1072 or email your question(s) to support@fcim.org.
 


Sick Leave Pool - Letter of Understanding

Representatives from the Administration Team and United Teachers of Monroe met recently to review the Sick Leave Pool of both the Teachers and the Administration/Support Pools.   It was also decided that the Pools would have two open enrollment periods to allow employees two opportunities to enroll.   (Letter of Understanding)


MCSD Sharepoint Portal

Monroe County School District staff can access the MCSD Sharepoint Portal at: https://portal.monroe.k12.fl.us/ . Once you click on the link, you will be asked for a user ID and password. Your user ID is the same as the user ID used for Outlook Web Access - (mcsd\user), with your network password. Once you log on, you may be asked to click at the top of the page to install a Microsoft add-in. Do this. Click yes when asked to display secure and unsecure information. Please contact your site technician if you have problems or questions.

eHRPortal for Employee

This HR Portal allows Monroe County School District staff to create their own user name and password to gain access to the system that allows employees to approve their PIFs, do change of address, Exhibit A and soon to come - leave forms.

Communication System
Monroe County School District uses the Connect-ED System to schedule, send, and track personalized voice messages to thousands of students, parents, and staff for attendance, emergencies, events, activities and weather bulletins concerning school closures. 


Teachers now have access to new online reading (K-8), math (K-8 and Spanish), and science (6-12) curriculum. The courseware is web-based and is correlated to Florida's Standards.
