KIDS  is an online environment for instructional development and collaboration. Learning Village offers teachers an Instructional Organizer with tools to access and create instructional materials that are correlated to state and local standards. The web-based application is managed by the Teaching and Learning Department. Teachers must have a user ID to access the site from the web, or access internally through the district's curriculum portal.

Elementary Programs:

ThinkCentral has been completely updated from last year. NOTE: the web address for the program has changed.  Program usage is for students K-5 only.

 


TypingWeb – All students in the school district have been loaded into the online typing program. If you need information on how to manage the program, contact the school site technician and they will provide documentation and login information for lab managers or teachers.


 

FCAT Explorer -Introducing Reading Factory! The new version of the 6th grade reading program is now available! Click here for more information

 


Renaissance Place – The program has been upgrades to a new server. It can now only be accessed from the Student Applications drop down. I have upgraded the school year from 2008-2009 to 2009-2010. Ren. Place managers you can go into the program now and start creating classes and managing users as you have time. Technicians, you are going to have to change some settings on Accelerated Math for this school year. Email me and I will provide directions.


RiverDeep –  The system should be there and ready for use.


 

Middle School Programs:

 

Voyager - Voyager usage is for grades 6-8 only. SOLO web-based reading activities provide independent practice.
 


JamesTown Reading is for use grades 6-8 and grades 9-10 at MHS.

National Geographic Edge – The program is only for use for 11th and 12th grade students.
