Plantation Key Middle School students wrote and illustrated, Have No Fear, Walk With Me
Plantation Key Middle School students wrote and illustrated, Have No Fear, Walk With Me, a book chronicling the process of how children in Africa receive life saving measles vaccines. The purpose was to raise awareness on campus and community about the devastating effects of the disease and the vaccination campaign. Proceeds from the book sales went to the Red Cross Measles Initiative because the students wanted to be a part of the solution. For each dollar raised, one life can be spared from infection. To date the students have raised more than $800. Books are still available.
