The annual budget will be adopted on September 8th, after budget hearings in all three regions of the Keys. Below are the budgeting documents prepared by the Finance Department, collaboratively with the School Board, Administration, Schools and Departments. The goal is to prepare a budget that best reflects the school district’s vision and mission, including improving student achievement, protecting the classroom, protecting the workforce and maintaining fiscal viability of the District. This is a work in progress. Staff are making every effort to share changes as the board, administration, departments and schools work collaboratively and will be journaling revisions so the public can see changes as they are discussed and approved.
