Each year, the Monroe County School District conducts a survey of students, parents, and school faculty/staff members. The purpose of this survey is to gather information on whether the district and schools are meeting the goals and objectives that are most important to providing students with a quality education in a safe and secure learning environment. | FCAT 3rd Grade Results Announced | ||||||||||||||||||||||

Over the coming weeks FCAT results will be released in phases culminating with school grades around mid-July. 3rd grade results for FCAT Reading and Math are now published. Scores are critical at the third grade level as promotion and retention are based on meeting proficiency on the Reading portion. Executive summaries for both reading and math as well as a 5 year comparison for each subject are linked below. (Florida DOE Website)

The Assessment and Accountability Department has completed summary data for Advanced Placement tests taken in the 2007 school year. | School Grades Announced - July, 2007 | ||||||||||||||||||||||
Randy Acevedo, Superintendent of Schools, has announced that school grades have been posted by the Department of Education. Seven schools received an "A", five schools a "B" and one school received a "C". Key West High and Glynn Archer Elementary are commended for going up a letter grade and it is noted the Coral Shores High had enough points for a B, but, was penalized for not showing enough growth in one area.
